A 3 weeks vocational training on tailoring, soft-toy making and embroidery for members of DROPS, Mungpoo, a Self Help Group concluded on 24th March, 2013. The training was conducted for BPL members of DROPS with an aim to make the SHG self reliant.

North Bengal Art Academy, a Siliguri based NGO imparted training to the members of DROPS. In the 3 weeks training programme the DROPS members prepared near about 200 no.s of various types of soft toys, under the guidance of faculties of North Bengal Art Academy.

On the concluding day 5 sewing machines were handed over by Pingal Kispotta, Manager (HR), TLDP-III, Rambi and N. Bhadra Singh, Manager (Civil), TLDP-III, Rambi to DROPS President at Mungpoo in the presence of all DROPS members. The members of DROPS expressed their gratitude for NHPC, TLDP-III, Rambi’s endeavor in imparting training to the DROPS members.
