The Adhaar Card making process has already started in Kalimpong Municipality since 24th February, 2013. However, the process started today at Algarah Block under Kalimpong sub-division. The first day of the card making process at the Community Hall of Algarah, had the presence of the BDO, S Nag. The Adhaar Cards for the public of 13 Gram Panchayat Units (GPUs) under the said Block will be completed by May 14, 2013. As per the information received from the BDO, 2-3 sub-centres have been installed at every GPU, where Supervisors are deployed.
