The 36 number Dungra Pudung Constituency Committee of the GJM was formed today at the Pudung Community hall in the presence of the GJM chief, Bimal Gurung. The newly formed committee comprises of Bikram Sarki as president, Bhumiraj Rai and Deepa Mahat as vice presidents, Bimal Bhattarai as secretary, Bimal Bhujel as joint secretary, Albert Lepcha as treasurers and 46 other working members.

Addressing the gathering, Bimal Gurung announced that the developmental works in the hills are underway. He again appealed the public not to panic due to the arrival of the para-military forces in the hills. Gurung mainly highlighted all the development works taking place in the hills. Various matter like road connectivity, drinking water facilities, development of tourism spots, up gradation of schools, etc. are being looked upon and are being addressed, he said.

The Morcha joint secretary, BInay Tamang, GTA deputy chief, Col Ramesh Allay, many GTA sabhasads and other were present during the programme.
