The SUMI School in Kalimpong is always known for their commitment to do social work. Living up to its reputation, the institution today again gave donations to the children of Ashadeep Charitable Trust’s Little Angel Children Home. They donated money along with ten sacks of rice, a sack of potato, tin cooking oil, clothes and other stationeries.

Likewise, SDO LN Sherpa also donated 20 tarpaulins, 76 clothes, 55 Kurtas, 25 pants, 76 blankets, etc. The Institution also donated other food materials.

The principal of the school, NR Pradhan said, “I will try to do whatever I can from the government’s side as well as my side to help these kids.”

 During the occasion, the teachers of SUMI were also present and the Little Angel Children Home’s caretaker Father Abner Rai and member of the trust, Dr. Sarij Thapa were also present.
