The Animal Husbandry Development Department held a Par Jivi Niwaran Shivir (camp) at Lower Bombusty today in coordination with the Taari Gaon Gram Sudhar Samiti. The people gathered were made aware of the lack of latest techniques used in animal rearing and were informed about the different types of diseases which affect the animals. Dr Zed Bhutia, Dr Devendra Pradhan, Dr Arun Chettri, Livestock Assistant, Shyam Kumar Rai, Kishore Rai and others were present. Bhuwan Nepal, President of Taari Gaon Gram Sudhar Samiti said that people highly depend on animal husbandry, but they lack proper knowledge about the latest techniques.  During the programme stool tests of calves were conducted and a free animal health check up camp was also organized.
