An annual meeting of the Khas Bharatiya Hitkari Sammelan, Mongol branch, Kalimpong was held today at Mongol Busty, 8th Mile. The meeting was held under the presidentship of the Sammelan’s president, TB Chettri. Gauri Prasad, secretary presented the annual report while the treasurer, PP Mainali gave reports on annual accounts.

During the meeting the demand for the Schedule Tribe status was discussed. The committee decided to discuss about the same among themselves similar to community committees.

Kumar Chettri, advisor of the Khas Bharatiya Hitkaru Sammelan central committee, member Subash Tiwari and regional representative Hari Giri were also present.
