A training to make bamboo handicrafts for the Scheduled Tribe women of Soreng area held by the Kalimpong Krishak Kalyan Sangathan (KKKS) concluded today. The training was implemented under the Janjati Mahila Vikas Yojana of NABARD. 27 women were trained by Deepak Katwal of Darjeeling. Durga Chettri, the Sangathan’s In-charge and Technical Assistant Dinesh Rai were also present during the training. The trainees were given certificates after completion of the training today.
