Demanding and in support of a separate state of Gorkhaland, the GJMM has sent a fax to Central Ministers and leaders, this afternoon. The GJMM general secretary, Mr. Roshan Giri said that today, they have

faxed a letter to the central ministers and central leaders demanding the formation of a separate state of Gorkhaland. Mr. Giri further said that we have informed them through fax that the GTA was failed to solve the problems of the Darjeeling hills, hence, the government should immediately cancel  it and should form a the state of Gorkhaland along with Telangana. He further informed that they have sent memorandums to the Prime Minister, Dr. Man Mohan Singh, Home minister, Mr. Sushil Kr. Shinde, the Congress chairperson, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, the BJP senior leaders, Mrs. Sushma Swaraj, Mr. Arun Jaitley and Mr. Rajnath Singh.

At a time when GJM party is demanding a separate state of gorkhaland in the other hand Darjeeling District Hill Congress has sent a memorandum to the party president Mrs. Sonia Gandhi to solve the problem of Darjeeling and adjoining area by granting it a status of Union Territory. K.B.Chettri, president of hill congress has also welcomed the move of the CWC on the decision on Telengana .
