GJM cadre arrested, sent to judicial custody

Kalimpong police has arrested GJM Shekhar Burtel(42) in connection with the old pending cases of 2009 against him.A warrant was pending in his name and acting on this police arrested him last night around 11 p.m from his house at gokule bong busty .Burtel was produced today in Kalimpong court where the accused bail plea was rejected and the court remanded him judicial custody for 14 days .Section 197/09 of the Indian Penal Code along with under section 147/148/149/427/436/448/380 is imposed upon him.
