Children and Cincona Plantation labor too joined the Gorkhaland movement .In Kalimpong today the kids all round the market took out a rally protesting the government. No untoward incident was reported from anywhere.Around 2000 party supporter reached kalimpong from Munsong 30 kms by foot .These include student , employee labour masses who widely demonstrated in support of Gorkhaland.
The communist party or revolutionary Marxist today too came upon the front and took out a mass rally.The rally when reached main road was warmly welcomed by the supporter of GJMM party .all of them shouted slogan for gorkhaland.J.B.Rai Vice president of the party told this this is the time to show our unity,it doesn't matter which party flag we carry but our unity is more important .It was a rare view in kalimpong when GJMM and CPRM party flag were seen in one place.GRNM too pasted poster in the town demanding gorkhaland .
Locks in offices ,school.market were seen on the 9th day of the indefinite strike . The National Highway Traffic was normal, vehicle from Sikkim was flagged off between the tight security.
