The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha is not getting any respite from the state government’s relentless approach in squashing the ongoing statehood movement with the police continuing to arrest senior leaders and activists .Today president of kalimpong  janmukti karmachari sangathan a frontal organisation of the GJM party Kharga Vikram Subba (42) was arrested from trikone park area beside kalimpong police station. Subba a Panchayat Secretary From Lolay Gram Panchayat was arrested by kalimpong police in a case of February this year when North Bengal development minister Gautam Deb was shown black flag at 8^th mile kalimpong when he was going towards siliguri after ending the hunger strike of lepcha community at town hall . Subba was leading the agitation of office worker in kalimpong actively in the ongoing agitation.He has been booked under section 143  /342/ 353/ 427/511/506 IPC .Today he was forwarded to kalimpong court after which he was sent to 10 days of judicial remand .
