The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha is not getting any respite from the state government’s relentless approach in squashing the ongoing statehood movement with the police continuing to arrest senior leaders and activists .Today Kalimpong police has arrested kalimpong municipal ward councilor barun bhujel in connection with a case of attacking kalimpong trinamul president chewing bhutia earlier this march . Bhujel ward councilor of ward number 16 was arrested today morning at 4 a.m in front of his residence when he was entering the house .He was today forwarded to kalimpong court .He has been booked under section 147\148\149\447\325\326 \307 of IPC.The court has send him to 14 days of judicial custody.
