One of the top leader of  Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) and elected member of Gorkhaland Territorial Administration Nima Tamang along with 6 other  was arrested by kalimpong police on 15th aug around 2 a.m in the morning from seed farm area . all of them were taken to Naxal bari thana were the police have shown the place of arrest at naxal bari and  produced them in siliguri court.

Tamang an  elected member of Gorkhaland Territorial Administration from 34 number homes bhalukhop constituency was picked up from Kalimpong seed farm area in connection with some old cases of obstruction to the police work .All of the seven was today brought to kalimpong and was produced before ACJM court from where they have been sent to 6 days of judical remand at siliguri correctional home  .Tamang along with other has been booked under Art 143/181/186/212/353/506 of IPC .The court has directed siliguri correctional home to give proper medical treatment to GTA Councillor tamang as he is suffering from a heart problem.
