Asha Gurung visits Mary Scot Home for the Blind, assures all possible help

GJM womens wing core committee president and GTA health dept member in duty Asha Gurung today visited Mary Scot Home for the Blind school at Kalimpong this afternoon.

The School which is specially meant for Blind Children is looked after by The Salvation Army.
Gurung who first time visited the school was received warmly by the faculty of the school.Many songs was today performed by the blind student.
Gurung was assisted by the Local Sabhasad Kazim Tshering Bhutia who today promised to carpet and make the road which is in a miserable condition after monsoon season.
Meanwhile Asha Gurung addressing today said the GTA will be conducting medical camp in the school soon. she assured job to blind people in health department according to their qualification.
She also gave some amount from her salary to the school and promised to request Bimal Gurung to visit the school once.
Major Vanlal Swongthanga principal of the school thanked Gurung,

Later speaking with reporter she said that the heath department of GTA is looking closely on the death occurred by Japanese encephalitis at plains. She said that all the hospital has been given the direction to be ware of the encephalitis.
