In a day pack incident at NH31 A today 2 people were killed and three other injured. The first incident came into light at Rompu ( Bengal side )when a Savari vehilce SK 01J1668 was seen at the river side of Suke Khola by some villager who later inform the police .At the said vehicle dead bodies of driver Busan Rai (23) from WB Bermaik and a girl named Monika Bujhel (18) resident Namthang Sikkim was found. The vehicle fell approx 100 ft from the road which was going towards Tumlang according to Kalimpong Police. Meanwhile a head on collision at 29th Mile under Rambi Check post witness 3 injuries. A collision was between Echo Sports vehicle going towards Sikkim from Siliguri and A bolero vehicle going toward Bakrakote from Kalimpong injuring three people from both side who were rushed to Rambhi BPHC for treatment.
