In one hand when GTA Chief Bimal Gurung is busying meeting with the Central Leader  in National Capital .North Bengal Development Minister Gautam Dev has suggested GTA Chief to Co operate with the State Government . Dev who was on a government program visit to Kalimpong at first hesitated to comment on Reporter political question but until he gave the suggestion.He said " GTA CEO Bimal Gurung ji should co operate with State Government to take the programs which is beneficiaries to all the people of the Hills .Adding he said that his government is committed to render all possible support and cooperation and we will do it. When asked about delay in Transferring the Department to GTA MIC Dev said ( pehle jo department transfer hua he uska kaam to kijeye) first do the work with the department which has already been transferred . There are 5-7 department which has not yet been transferred due to technicality but the government is looking up the matter .He said many major department has already been transferred but GTA has not stand to its mark yet. Dev also said that the Central Modi laid BJP Government which is giving grant to NE states should also include all the three hill sub Division. He also said that the MP Darjeeling should work to bring Darjeeling District into BRGF plan failing which the State Government will go to a movement.

Dev came to kalimpong to attend the program of Kanyashri Diwas . About 30 girl Student was handed over the sanction order in presence of MIC Gautam Dev,MLA Dr Harka bahadur Chettir, Darjeeling DM Punit Yadav SDO kalimpong S Radhika Aiyar etc.
