Kalimpong taekwondo players represented India in the 8th.CK Malaysia Classic International Taekwondo Championship-2014 brought laurels to the hills as well as Country at,Malaysia.

Fourteen members team contingent from India,total twelve players and two officials represented Country in the 8th.CK Malaysia Classic International Taekwondo Championshp-2014 which was held at Stadium Melawati Shah Alam ,Selanger, Malaysia from 8th To 10th.August 2014.

Taekwondo players of Kalimpong Janki Das Subba Memorial (JDSM) Taekwondo Dojang created a history winning three Gold medals,one Silver medals and one Bronze medals in this championship .


Master Trilok Subba 6 Dan of JDSM DOJANJ, KALIMPONG, GTA won Gold Medal in the 8th CK Classic International Taekwondo Championship . He also won a Gold Medal in the Pairs Events.Mr Trilok won Silver Medal in the Individual first Master Poomsae Event

Anu Mukiya also won Gold Medal in the Pairs Poomsae Events.

Adwayti Subba 10 yrs old student of Saint Joseph's Convent Kalimpong won the Bronze Medal in the Sub Junoir Taekwondo Poomsae event.

All three return back to  Kalimpong yesterday .

Master Trilok Subba express that “we have been preparing for this championship from last many months and extremely satisfied with out teams golden victory in this international championship.”
