The Yuva Sahitya Akademi Puraskar 2014 will be presented to poet Tika Bhai . His name was declared today during the meeting of the Sahitya Akademi Executive board .

“Paitalatira ' which is a compilation of poems has been selected for the said award. The book was published in 2012. Tika  has been informed about the same through his friend and later he check from the website of Sahitya Acadamy.

Kalimpong based emergent poet Tika Bhai also participatied in the Youth Festival of Sahitya Academy, Delhi, representing Nepali literature. The festival was held on February 6 and 7 at Sangit Natya Academy in Rajasthan.

Poet Tika Bhai has express happiness and thanked all .

The date of function has not yet been announced . The awardees contain a casket containing

an engraved copper plaque and a cheque of Rs.50,000.
