Sikkim Krantrikari Morcha the opposition party in Sikkim today raised the question of Sexual Harassment of a Sikkim Lady at Viswa Bharti University, Santiniketan. A team of 9 member including 6 MLA lead by SKM Supremo P S Golay met CM Mamata Banerjee today evening at Delo Tourist Lodge Kalimpong and Submitted a Memorandum. The memorandum was handed over to CM by SKM supremo . The 4 Point demand consist of immediate action against the evil person contemplating sexual harassment and inhuman treatment of the innocent girl . Immediate suitable action to bbe subjected to all student especially from state so that they not not be subjected to atrocity undergone by said victim.The memo have demanded compensation to the victim and lastly a Pshyco Social councelling by the competant Clinical Psychologist may kindly be arrange since the victim is under Trauma .

Bengal CM clarified that the university is not under the state jurisdiction and suggested the girl family to fil a FIR so that the state may act upon it.
