GTA chief warns of Hills Strike protexting against police raids

GTA Chief Bimal Gurung today appeared before Kalimpong court for a case regarding NH 31 A during agitation period of 2011. A charge hearing procedure took place today at Judicial Magistrate (1st Class) Subojit Rakshit Court where after hearing gurung denied the charges and decided to context the case . The next hearing has been fixed on 17th Feb 15. Meanwhile Morcha Assistant Sec Binay Tamang too surrender before ACJM court in a case of showing Black Flag to NBDM Minister Gautam Dev vehicle last year during Feb. Meanwhile Talking to reporter outside court premiss Gurung said that we respect the judiciary for which i appeared before the court today. He said that the state government did not have work properly in talking back the agitation cases despite as agreed in GTA pact.When asked about Assam Arms haul Case he said when Subash Ghising was attacked at Satghumti AK 47 AK56 and Grenade were recovered then but the case has not been solved as to who bought the arms then. why to talk in Darjeeling about Assam arms case , those involve in that case should be properly interrogated . He informed about sending letter to PM Home Minister Governor and CM complaining about the excessive raid conducted and have demanded to stop such activities otherwise a 12 hour Strike in first phase and 72hr in second phase. 'We have informed about our program' added Gurung who said that he had a phone conversation with Gov this morning about the same issue. He express dissatisfaction over the result of Bipartite talk between State Govt till now. What have come out till now , despite dropping of cases during agitation period have been in GTA act we are coming to court for such cases? Lastly he wished Christmas and new year to all Kalimpong.
