2015 Seems incident week in Kalimpong. 1st Jan murder, 2nd Jan molestation, 3rd Jan clash between two party and 4th Jan witnessed an accident at NH31A Rompu check post area early this morning . 2 people were dead and other one injured when a Truck they were traveling met with an accident this morning around 4 am. The truck bearing number WB 73C 8335 was traveling from Gangtok to Siliguri and was carrying utensils of a catering company. The vehicle is said to have lost control and skidded 30 ft down the road killing Anna and Jitu named people from Maharastra on the spot and injuring Gautam Patel (46) who was rescued by police and local and was rushed to Romphu PHC Sikkim for further treatment. The accident happened at 10 mile area of Rompu. Meanwhile Kumar Chhetri the driver of the vehicle is said to run from the spot. The bodies of both was send for PM at Kalimpong Sub divisional Hospital. The vehicle has been recovered this evening. Police has lodge a Fir and is investigation the matter .
