Kalimpong Gorkha Body Builders and Youth Association Organized (KGBBYA) a Tribute ceremony at Trikone Park in protest against the brutal killing of 19 year old girl named Nima Lhamu Bhutia from Sakyong, Pedong by her husband Mahabub Ali, a resident of motor stand Kalimpong in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu few days back.

It was known that the couple worked in a beauty salon in the southern part of the country after their step of a non acceptable elopement. A source here said that Bhutia had a relative next to the salon where visiting and talking to them crept the problem and adopted indifferent behavior in Ali which later made him murder her.

Few days ago the association too took out a mass rally against the killing of Bhutia and demanded arrest of the culprit.

A memorandums was also submitted to Police Station in charge demanding  to take preventions and precautions of the increasing crime rates in Kalimpong, informed the advisor of KGBBYA Ravi Pradhan.
