Student arrested on charges of sexual assault

Yesterday one Sujan Thapa, 21 from 21st Mile Pedong have been
arrested on charges of sexual assault on a 16 yr old minor. The minor
is said to have tried committing Suicide yesterday but was stopped by
family member after which the incident came into light.
Both
the accused and Victim are student , the mother of the victim have
filed a written complaint against thapa for sexually assaulting her
daughter from last 10 month the recent on 16 of this month.
Taking note of the FIR police yesterday night arrested Thapa .
He was presented in the
court today and is booked under the section 4 of POCSO (Protection of Children
From Sexual Offense) Act 2012.
