Just after a day of 5 days ultimatum given by Morcha to Kalimpong Police in regard with Memorial Vandalism Case Kalimpong Police top official sat with the Member of GJMM Kalimpong.
The meeting was held at Kalimpong Police Station which was attended by ASP Kalimpong A Ghosh, IC Kalimpong Debdatta Banerjee and other officail and from GJMM Deputy Chief Rtd Colonel Ramesh Allay, Sabhasad Dawa Lepcha, Nordhen Lama President GJM Kalimpong Kumar Chamling secretary along with members from Youth and Womens wing.
When ask to SP Darjeeling about the meeting  he said we have taken expert to the spot after which the report he submitted after the inquiry that the memorial has been damaged naturally by bad weather and some technical defect. We informed them about the report and if they go for a chakka jam we will act according to Law he added.
Meanwhile When asked to Nordhen Lama about the meeting he told we sat with the police which briefed us about the Investigation. we heard from them who told us about the expert report. We will too take our expert tomorrow and we have not come to any conclusion.
