CPRM Youth Wing protests GTA at Jantar Mantar

The Communist Party of
Revolutionary Marxists (CPRM) Youth Wing along with the Students Morcha today
staged dharna demanding for separate State Gorkhaland at Jantar Mantar in New
Delhi.

General Secretary Arun Ghatani said that funds alone cannot be the solution of
the Gorkhas which the Centre and the State Government have arranged under Gorkhaland
Territorial Administration (GTA) in Hills. It also reflects the attitude of the
Center and the State Government towards the Gorkhas residing in the country he
added. “We are not begging, what we are demanding is the constitutional” said
Ghatani and added that the dharna will catch the pace in days to come. He also
informed that a single wrong political move can be hazardous for future of
lacs. Comrade Tikaram Rai said that the Centre and the State who for the time
being has prearranged GTA will be the main source of discontentment and uproar
in the Hills in future.
The CPIML Politburo
member Rajme Roy stated that the demand for Gorkhaland has been constitutional
and reasonable and cannot be termed as separatism. He has also appealed to for
the formation of the State Reorganization Commission to consider the same.
CPIML Central Committee
member comrade Prabhat, ACCTU General Secretary comrade Sapan Mukherjee, CPRM
Delhi Branch Convenor Uttam Chettri, Haryana Convenor Kiran BK addressed the
day stressing much on separate State Gorkhaland.
