Kalimpong, October 16:

On the occasion of the World Food Day, the Kalimpong Municipality distributed 5kgs of rice each to 278 BLP families of Kalimpong. The Municipality President, LB Pariyar distributed the rice grains at the Municipality office today. The Municipality Vice President, Ganga Maya Gurungm Ward Councilors, CI of Food Department, CK Gurung and others were present. Similarly, the 278 BPL families under Kalimpong Block I, Algarah Block and Gorubathan Block, too received 5kgs rice each.
