The body of the NHPC Supervisor Soumen Bhowmick was today recovered at Upalcham area of Kranti out post under Malbazar Block. The anglers today morning glimsed the decomposed body by the riverside and they informed the police. The family members reached the spot after being informed by the police. They identified the body by an operation scar, which he had in his stomach. Bhowmick is from Sharda Palli in Siliguri.The body was than taken to the Jalpaiguri hospital for the post-mortem.Yesterday the body of the Rambi police In-charge Shiv Sagar Chettri was found near the Mungpong jungle.On the other hand the vehicle and driver Pritam Chettri has not been traced. Chettri, resident of Rambi who was the lone bread earning for his two sisters and mother and they are passing threough great trauma at the moment. Rambi youths have been on search operation for the driver at different areas of Dooars.It may be recalled here that a vehicle had plunged into Teesta river on September 29 night. Since than after eight days of the fatal accident, the body of the police incharge was found yestarday followed by that of the NHPC Supervisor today. Experts opined that untraced driver Chettri must be drowned away by Teesta.
