Kalimpong, January 23:

The ARD department today distributed domestic animals to 13 families of 33 no constituency. The distribution was done at the office of the constituency sabhasad, Kazim Tshering Bhutia, situated at 8th Mile. The domestic animals included 2 goats, 2 pigs, 9 roosters and 12 hens.

Until now 20 families have received such animals, under which 7 families received the same during the recent Krishi Mela. The main aim for the distribution is to help the poor families to make their living through the animals.

The constituency sabhasad and Dr Zed Bhutia from ARD department were present during the distribution.
