Dissatisfied TMC leader Chewang Bhutia walks out of party meeting

Kalimpong, January 31:
A meeting of the Trinamool Congress was called on at Siliguri for the poignancy emerged relating to the Morcha and to make the TMC more active. However, Chewang Bhutia walked out of the meeting.
Bhutia explaining his walk out said that the time for the meeting was fixed for 9 a.m., but the Chief Minister did not show up even when the clock struck 1 p.m.
“This is the reason I walked out”, he said.
Bhutia claimed that along with him another TMC leader Urgen Sherpa also walked out.
He informed that from Kalimpong, CP Khatiwada, Mahendra Gazmer, Sukh Bahadur Subba and others had gone to attend the meeting. They are the TMC candidates who ran for the GTA elections.
As per Bhutia the CM did not show up still after waiting for 4 long hours. They have spoken with the North Bengal Development Minister Gautab Deb and TMC parliamentarian, Mukul Roy regarding the same.
“Why are we being lied time after time? After the The money used for the election has not been refunded till date. There is no democracy in the hills. Why the leaders involved in the murder case are being saved? In the hills the GJM has become the A team while the TMC is the B team” said the dissatisfied Bhutia.
Lastly he added that they have decided to keep a check on the steps of the government and if the assurances given so far are not met then they will be resigning from the party.
