Kalimpong, March 25:

The GJM formed its 37 number constituency committee today in the presence of its leader Bimal Gurung and secretary, Kumar Chamling. The newly formed committee has Basant Rai as the president, Rajen Pradhan and Prabhakar Pradhan as the vice presidents, Rajesh Rai, Sukhbir Rai and KB Gurung are the joint secretaries and around 2 dozens of working members. The name of the secretary has not yet been disclosed. During the occasion, the area sabhasad, Kalpana Tamang highlighted about the developmental works of the area.

The day also witnessed the CPM leader of Kalimpong area, Keshar Thapa joining hands with the GJM. Thapa was inactive after the GJM started their Gorkhaland agitation. He said that he decided to join the Morcha after understanding their farsightedness and political dedication.
