Following their series of meetings with the national leaders, the Gorkhaland Task Force (GTF) representatives on Saturday, met with the heavyweight politician of the Bharatiya Janta party (BJP) and MP Yaswant Sinha at his official residence. The team presented the documents related with the demand of a separate state, to Singh. He was also highlighted about the necessity for formation of Gorkhaland and the contributions made by the Gorkhas in the development and security of the country.

The GTF faction comprised of Sukhman Moktan, R Moktan, Dawa Pakhrin, Pratap Khati, Shyamsan Tamang and RK Tomar.
