The Gorkhaland Task Force held Dharna at Jantar mantar, New Delhi reiterating the Gorkhaland demand, today. The venue was crowded on the first day of the two days Dharna. The Small States Federation president, RK Tomar, Kokrajhar MP SK Basumatary, president of Communist Party of Revolutionary Marxist (CPRM), RB Rai, Gorkha Rajya Nirman Morcha (GRNM) president, Dawa Pakhrin, office bearers of GTF and Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh (BGP) and the supporters from Assam, Dehradun, Delhi, Haryana, etc. had participated.

Different spokesperson presented speeches on Gorkhaland. Small States Federation president, RK Tomar, in his turn alleged the state and central governments and the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) party of forming the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA), in order to sideline the separate state demand.

In the meanwhile, the serial Dharna of the GJM under the leadership of Naari Morcha president, Asha Gurung at Jantar Mantar has stepped in its 53rd day.
