The Srimad Bhagwad Katha cum 74th Holi Mahotsav today commenced at Sri Krishna Pranami Mandir, Mangal Dhaam, Kalimpong with full religious fervor. The religious celebrations will continue till 30th March. Mangal Acharan marked the opening of the auspicious occasion today. Prior to the religious programme, 108 Kalash Yatra was conducted wherein the female devotees dressed up in traditional Rajasthani attires and Guru Matas from the Mangal Dhaam participated. The youths were holding religious flags and Dafli (musical instrument) during the Yatra. The Kumudini Homes School band also participated. The Kalash Yatra which started from Mangal Dhaam ended at the same venue after encircling the town. Guruji Sri 108 Sadanand Ji Maharaj, Guruji Sri 108 Mohan Priya Acharya Ji Maharaj, Shyamanand Ji Maharaj, Krishan Das Ji Maharaj and Hans Das Ji Maharaj were also present.
