Manoj Bogati and Manoj Rai, journalists of Kalimpong, who received a recognition each, last week were felicitated by the working journalists group of Kalimpong on Wednesday. They awardees received congratulatory letters, citations and souvenirs from their fellow journalists amid a programme held at the GDNS hall.

Manoj Bogati has received the Yuva Sahitya Akademi Puraskar-2012 while Manoj Rai has received the Godfrey Philips Bravery Award. “Ghau Ka Rang Haru’, the poetic masterpiece of Manoj Bogati won him the akademi puraskar, while Manoj Rai’s selfless service during the September 18, 2011 earthquake won him the bravery award.
Both the awardees expressed their thoughts during the programme.
