Kalimpong based Sarda Company Agent ask for help to CM

Kalimpong, April 23: In a fresh reveal, the unnoticed disappearance
of the Chief Officer of Sarda Company based in Kalimpong has created havoc
among the agents who work for the company and investors, who have jeopardized
huge sums of money, were seen making rounds of the company office situated at
Ongden Road the entire day.The company’s officials and workers are
also in utter despair. However, an FIR had been lodged by the representatives
of the company at Kalimpong Police Station in fear of mob violence at the
company’s office which could lead to damage of important documents. Earlier,
the investors and agents had fallen prey to high profit assurances where the
company had shown an impressive amount of wealth and a hi-fi background.The Sarda Company stated in the year 2011
have approximately 300 agents working for the company in Kalimpong. One of the
investors cum agent, Esther Rai said that she has invested Rs. 8 lakhs in the
company where many more people have invested around 20 lakhs through her and also
said that company was running on a monthly transaction of Rs. 15-20 lakhs.
In this regard, the Kalimpong branch
officials have called a meeting with the agents and investors on 24th
April which will also be attended by the higher officials of Darjeeling branch.
One of the senior officials of the company, Uttam Biswakarma said that the
meeting will decide the future course of actions of the company.Meanwhile the agent today sent a memorandum to the CM through SDO kalimpong to immediately interfere to solve the situation.
