Two arrested with Heroine

Kalimpong Police
has arrested two youth of Darjeeling with 45 grams of heroine today. The
arrest took place in NH31A Lohapul area which falls under the
jurisdiction of Rambi Police Post. Police has received information from
internal source about the duo coming from Siliguri Side. Kalimpong
IC, A Gupta and OC of Rambi, Sujit Lama started a Naka checking this
morning at Lohpul where the duo was arrested with the bike they were
riding. The boys has been identified as Pranap
Tamang 19 of Singmari and Dorjee Bhutia 24, residents of Takvar
Darjeeling . Police when searched the duo found 43 grams of heroin which
was divided into 33
pouches, a market value of worth near 80,000 .A automatic
weighing machine was too recovered from the bike which was used to
weight the Herione. Duo were bought to Kalimpong and has been booked
under section 22 of NDPS Act 1985. Both were produced before Kalimpong
ACJM court where they were sent to 14 days of Judicial remand.Tags: LOCAL
