Insperia winter camp in Chandralok.

The first academic winter camp for the stretch of 15 days has been kicked off in Chandralok today in the presence of Mahindra Bhujel, the principal of Prathamik Teachers Training Institute, around 10 youths will be handling 30 approximate students from around the Chandralok area.
The camp is known to be organized by the members of Chandralok Jan Jagrati Pariwar (CJJP) in order to give children an opportunity to discover their interests and hobbies. The programs are also aimed to boost children’s self confidence and self affirmation by organizing various knowledge extolling activities.
Appreciating the academic camp the parents and guardians of surrounding areas positively turned up to register their children in the camp. The young like minded troop who will be handling the children to master the skills in speaking, writing and spelling in Just a minute, (JAM) Spell-B, Essay writing, Debate, etc, felt the necessity to empower the importance of knowledge to the kids.
‘After vacations children tend to recklessly play in-door and out-door games forgetting their studies, it is important for them to get in touch with educative knowledge in between’ said Srijana Basnet. Adding to that she said the kids will be taught new things in a different and interesting way. ‘We will deal with the infants in a child-friendly manner for we have an objective to make them a successful person in the society’ she added.
However the children seemed enthusiastic about their 15 days journey towards excellence and are ready to playfully explore themselves and their hidden talents. At the same time Satrughan pradhan a member of CJJP said that the parents gave a good response to the idea of such camp, ‘an academic camp is a new concept in Kalimpong and every parent want their children to learn something or the other everyday and that’s the reason for their interests I assume’ said Pradhan.
He also said that he will support the youngsters who had the insight of the winter camp and assured to do better in the coming year.
